Arbaeah enhances the Arab podcast scene

The Arbaeah Podcast Network has declared its continuous dedication to enriching the Arabic and worldwide podcast scene through a diverse range of audio-visual content. Ahmed Maher, founder and CEO of Arbaeah, explains that the name means "No. Four" in English. This reflects their mission to provide inclusive content for audiences of all age groups, available at any time of year and from anywhere in the world.

OThe professional world is continuously evolving. With the introduction of mixed work models, new AI technologies, continuous staff reductions, and an ever-growing diverse workforce seeking recognition and a sense of inclusion at their workplace - there's certainly a lot for managers to handle. In their fresh podcast series named "The Culture Kit™ with Jenny & Sameer", industry culture specialists Jenny Chatman and Sameer Srivastava address queries from business heads grappling with the significant transformations occurring in today's working environment.

The Aisholpan international project, which focuses on culture and education, recently launched PODCAST AISHOLPAN: the power of inspiration. This educational podcast series is aimed at teenage girls and was premiered on YouTube on April 3 in Astana, according to a statement from the project's press team.

Patrick Adams and Sarah Rafferty, famous for their roles in the popular TV series "Suits," are creating a new podcast. They will be revisiting each episode of the drama that aired between 2011 to 2019, offering an analysis and revealing untold tales related to the show.

The Living Planet podcast is a half-hour radio magazine and podcast produced by Deutsche Welle, the German international broadcaster. The podcast also features conversations with activists fighting against deforestation or government policy decisions that would negatively impact communities or ecosystems worldwide.

  • Fewer Americans turn to podcasts in search of news, though most listeners still say that news is at least a part of their experience with podcasts.

  • Among U.S. podcast listeners – those who have listened to a podcast in the past 12 months – 29% say that staying up to date about current events is a major reason they listen to podcasts. Two-thirds of podcast listeners say they have heard news discussed on the podcasts they listen to – amounting to a third of all U.S. adults. And among those who hear news on podcasts, the vast majority say they expect the news they hear there to be mostly accurate.

  • The survey shows, however, that most podcast listeners are not tuning into podcasts connected to news organizations. Just one-in-five listeners say the podcasts they listen to are connected to a news organization, while almost three times that amount (59%) say they are not (21% aren’t sure).

  • Most people who get news from podcasts either say they trust that news more than the news they get from other sources (31%) or trust it about the same (55%). Fewer (15%) trust news from podcasts less than news from other sources.
