Earlier this year, the BBC launched a new audio service for listeners outside the UK on BBC.com and the BBC app. This service offers access to BBC Radio 4, BBC World Service English, and many BBC podcasts and programs. The BBC announced that the BBC Sounds app will close for users outside the UK on 21 July 2025. After this date, only people living in the UK will be able to use BBC Sounds, even when they travel abroad. Non-UK listeners can still access BBC radio stations live through a special directory and continue listening to Radio 4 and World Service on BBC.com and the BBC app.

Podcast Tip Of The DayElevate your video podcast with multi-camera coverage (wide + close-up shots) and smooth transitions (cuts, graphics) to keep viewers hooked. Alternate angles to highlight reactions or key moments, and use simple title cards to segment topics—making long-form content feel dynamic. For best results, maintain consistent lighting across all camera angles to ensure a polished look. Also, consider adding subtle background music during transitions to enhance flow without distracting from the conversation. | ![]() |
