This amount of daily listening clocks in at 48% higher than the overall 13+ population in the U.S., who average 11% of their daily audio time with podcasts, or 27 minutes.

  • Edison Research conducted the Audio Publishers Association’s 2024 Consumer Survey and found the majority of U.S. adults (52%) have listened to an audiobook, which translates to nearly 149 million Americans who have ever tried the medium.

Deborah Frances-White

Deborah Frances-White is a talented woman, known for her comedy and screenwriting skills. She won the 2016 Writers’ Guild Award for Best Radio Comedy with her popular BBC Radio 4 series called “Deborah Frances-White Rolls the Dice”. Aside from that, she’s also recognized in the Edinburgh Fringe festival and often requested to conduct corporate seminars.

She had been working as a comedian when she decided to bring feminism into her acts. However, she felt like she didn’t know enough about it. It seemed like another area where women could be criticized if they got something wrong. So, when Deborah said “I’m a feminist but…” to some friends and they laughed, The Guilty Feminist was born.
