Podcast Tip Of The Day

Zoom recordings might seem convenient, but they often lead to editing nightmares with overlapping voices and background noise. Instead, have each guest record their own local audio track using tools like Riverside.fm, Zencastr, or even a simple voice memo app. This gives you individual files for every speaker, making it easy to adjust levels, cut crosstalk, and remove unwanted sounds (like phone buzzes or sneezes). Sync these tracks during post-production for seamless audio quality—your editor (or future self) will thank you. Bonus:

A Final Note

“Multiple guests bring dynamic energy to your podcast—just plan your flow, balance voices, and let the chemistry shine.”
