A recent glitch in the Apple Podcasts app is causing some issues with showing new episodes and automatic downloads. The app is designed to notify users when their favourite shows release new content, and if set up correctly, it can automatically download these episodes for immediate listening. However, there have been instances where this feature isn't functioning as expected.

iHeartMedia is spearheading a Series A funding round for Sounder, a podcast platform created in 2019 by ex-executives of Spotify and Google. Coinciding with the investment, iHeartMedia will enter into a business partnership with Sounder. Through this collaboration, over 750 original podcasts from iHeart will adopt Sounder's technology to enhance audience data analysis and increase revenue generation.

PODCAST TIP OF THE DAY
How To Create RSS Feed For Your Podcast

RSS stands for “Really Simple Syndication.” It is sometimes referred to as “Rich Site Summary” or “RDF Site Summary” (the latter of which stands for “Resource Description Framework”), though these terms have become less popular. A podcast RSS feed is a file that contains information about a podcast, such as a title, description, author, and audio files. It is used by podcast players and apps to download and play podcast episodes.
