Audio Ads Boost Profits
Radiocentre, with WPP Media, launched the ‘High Gain Audio’ study showing audio ads are highly profitable for advertisers. The research found that both broadcast radio and digital audio deliver higher profit returns than the average of all media. Digital audio offers £5.20 and broadcast radio £5 return for every pound spent, beating the all-media average of £4.11. Adjusting ad budgets to include more audio can boost total campaign short-term ROI by 8%. The findings support the value and price premium of digital audio compared to traditional radio.
