The first Independent Podcast Forum for indie creators will take place on June 16 in London. Attendees will have networking opportunities and learn from expert speakers about podcasting topics, including turning a podcast into a book and making money from it. Speakers include Rosie Wilby, Lauren Mischon, Nicole Goodman, Kobi Omenaka, Alice Florence Orr and Patricia Nicol. A panel discussion featuring representatives from Acast, Amazon and Spotify will conclude the event. The day ends with a social gathering where attendees can discuss what they learned.

More Americans Opt for Single Audio Subscription Over half of Americans aged 13 and above are paying for at least one audio subscription service in Q1 2025, with the majority paying for just one. The percentage of people subscribing to multiple services has decreased from 13% in Q4 2022 to 6% in Q4 2025. Meanwhile, those only paying for a single service have increased from 28% to 35%. | Majority of Creators Now Use AI in their Work Process Artificial intelligence (AI) is being utilized by about 80% of creators in their work process, according to a study from AI content creation platform, Wondercraft. The report also found that women tend to fully adopt AI across creative workflows more than men but are less likely to experiment with different tools. Interestingly, the study revealed that older creators over the age of 25 are adopting AI tools more consistently than younger ones. |
