Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your background? I'm a broadcast and journalism professional of more than 20 years, including top 50 markets in radio and television as a host, producer, and programmer. I am a student of economic theory and the law for over 30 years with an emphasis on the geo-political and socio-economic impact on the legal rights and duties of the individual and The State in modern and historic society. | What inspired you to start a podcast? I'm a fun well-spoken person with a host of skills and interests and successes in and out of broadcasting including being a comic book and game shop owner and lifelong collector of related pop-culture. I also have an insight into ideas that I'm able to relate to others in terms they can understand. I like to talk and share my ideas and interests. |
How did you come up with the name of your podcast? Toward Anarchy is a phrase coined by the early anarchist founders of the Libertarian Party. The slogan was proposed by David F. Nolan in at least one pre-party newsletter; as was a logo, the Circle-A Anarchy symbol with an arrow crossing through it pointing toward the upper right quadrant of the Nolan Chart. That point being the maximum point of freedom, Anarchy. | What is the main focus or theme of your show? Success and happiness through voluntary action and individual accountability, but mostly just whatever interests me at any given time. I also have a guest for most episodes. ![]() |
Have there been any particularly memorable moments during recording that stick out to you? As many years as I've been doing this, I've experience it all. I've spoken to politicians and rock stars, lawyers and cops, authors, journalists, and of course Anarchists. Problems with tech or guests? I've been through it. Live shows, produced shows, remote shows. Recently I did my first Unboxing of a vintage comic book collection. Loved doing it. | Who has been one of your favorite guests so far, and why? Foster Gamble was a huge highlight. Just a great guy doing amazing things. What's next for your show – any exciting plans we should know about? The plan over the next six months is to begin to monetize the show. |
A special thanks to Micheal Storm for sharing his insightful podcast journey thus far and we wish him all the best with his continued podcast growth.
