Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your background? Hello guys my name is Matt Foster I'm a Poet, Podcaster, and YouTuber from Philadelphia, PA and I've been podcasting since July of 2019 and I've taken a bit of a break from podcasting due to focusing on my youtube career but I'm excited to get back into podcasting this month! My podcast is mainly about poetry, life, faith and relationships, and I'm excited to share my story with you all! | What inspired you to start a podcast? Well...that's a good question, what inspired me was back in 2016 I moved to Idaho and since I had no way of visiting my loved ones and friends I wanted to share my poems with friends and family back in Philadelphia and to my surprise it ended up being a smash hit worldwide. |
How did you come up with the name of your podcast? Well I wanted this podcast to be a safe place for poets and artist alike to have a place where they can showcase their lyrical talent with world! | What is the main focus or theme of your show? The main focus of the podcast is poetry of course and life, faith and relationships. ![]() |
Have there been any particularly memorable moments during the recording that stick out to you? Hmm...I remember having a guest on the show and we went from talking about lyricism and poetry to life and the journey of success and the impact your gift makes on the world around you.
| Who has been one of your favorite guests so far, and why? All the guest I've had on the podcast I truly value the same and I've been honored to have them share their story and talents on the show. What's next for your show – any exciting plans we should know about? Well now that I'm getting back into podcasting I want to get into doing more live shows by infusing my YouTube channel and it's algorithm with my podcast and I'm looking to have a poetry panel and discussion hopefully by January of 2025. |
A special thanks to MATTHEW for sharing his insightful podcast journey thus far and we wish him all the best with his continued podcast growth.

PODCAST TOOL OF THE DAY

For creators looking for a complete video podcasting tool, certain features are essential. SquadCast has made sure to include all these important features in their platform.
Main Features
Video Recording
Squadcast allows up to four guests on video during recording, picking up nonverbal hints and offering a personal touch. It records in 720p and processes videos fast for a great user experience. But it can't record video podcasts, so you'll need other software like Quicktime or Zoom.
Studio Audio Quality
SquadCast is a recording software known for its superior audio quality. It records from the source and cloud, ensuring nothing is missed in remote sessions. It provides local audio recordings in WAV and MP3 formats, and network recordings via Dolby.io. SquadCast aims to mimic a studio experience for podcast interviews while maintaining sound quality across channels.
Green Room
SquadCast's Green Room feature is great for remote video interviews. It lets hosts manage guests and check all details before recording starts. This tool helps avoid microphone and video problems, making it a top SquadCast feature.
Progressive Uploads
SquadCast is a unique podcast recording and editing tool with a special feature of progressive uploading. This allows audio files to be uploaded in real-time, making them accessible right after the podcast ends. Even if the internet connection breaks, your data is safe as it's constantly being saved to the cloud. With just minor pauses during cutoffs based on upload speed, this feature reduces final upload times by uploading files while recording.
Auto Back UP
Recordings are saved and backed up to the cloud in an automatic and continuous manner. This provides podcasters with the assurance to record without worry, as they can retrieve both audio and video files from the cloud in case of any mishap. As previously stated, a power outage or blackout will not result in a recording disaster.
Guest Invitation Links
You can plan your recording sessions ahead of time and invite guests via email. Guests can join remotely using a simple link, focusing on sharing their insights with your audience. You can also reuse the session link or schedule it automatically with tools like Calendly.
