WHAT’S HAPPENING IN THE PODCAST WORLD
Making Podcasts Funny Is A Crucial Strategy for Brands, Says IAB Study

For The Drum's special week centered on entertainment, the IAB sought advice from their Audio Group on how brands can make their podcasts funnier and why this is crucial in today's times. As it becomes difficult to find humor in daily life, an increasing number of listeners are turning to podcasts for a dose of laughter. A study by media firm Global revealed that 80% of respondents believe comedy has never been more vital while 86% use comedic content to enhance their mood.

However, this rapid growth hasn't been without its challenges. This report forms part of our arts and culture series, CANVAS, by Jeffrey Brown.

New data shows that businesses using a combination of radio, streaming, and podcasts in their marketing strategies are experiencing better results. Live, Laugh, Love Podcast

You've probably heard the phrase, "Live, Laugh, Love," right? It was a popular saying back in the late 2000s. The idea is to live your life fully and find humor in everyday situations. Essentially, it's about not taking yourself too seriously and enjoying what you love doing most. If you enjoy watching Ladbaby on YouTube, then the Live, Laugh, Love podcast could be your next go-to for a good laugh. Hosted by Mark and Roxanne Hoyle themselves - yes, the very same goofy couple from Ladbaby YouTube! Their podcast is packed with their unique brand of humour and relatable stories about parenting, relationships, and just daily life in general.
