The PJ Pod Wins Best B2B Podcast at BSME Talent Awards 2024

The PJ Pod, a podcast by The Pharmaceutical Journal, has won the top B2B podcast award at the BSME Talent Awards 2024. The judges praised it for effectively using podcasts to present intricate investigative reports to its listeners and the general public. This victory was announced on June 4th, 2024, at an event in central London.

On Sunday, May 19, Mary O’Neill explained how to start and manage a podcast at Scoville Memorial Library. She has been co-hosting the Main Street Moxie podcast with Thorunn Kristjansdottir from Main Street Magazine for three years. Their monthly 50-minute interviews feature intriguing individuals from around Connecticut, New York, and Massachusetts. They take short breaks during holiday seasons.

Shane Smith, one of the original founders of Vice Media, is shifting from corporate decision-making to news reporting. After facing financial struggles and staff layoffs due to restructuring earlier this year, Vice Media will now see Smith in a content creation role for Vice News. Additionally, he will be hosting a podcast named 'Vice News: The Truth' on Bill Maher’s Club Random Studios Network.

The "Finding Business Happy" podcast, on May 22, 2024, conducted a live discussion focusing on AI, call tracking and lead generation. CallRail's VP of Partnerships Mike Stocker was the special guest for the event. Jennelle McGrath, founder of Market Veep and frequent writer for Entrepreneur.com hosted this live stream.

Sean Strickland is gearing up to launch a major podcast in the mixed martial arts arena, with ideas already brewing about his perfect co-hosts. The ex-middleweight champion elicits varied reactions in the MMA world. His bold personality can be off-putting for those not into the sport. Despite this, many find him intriguing due to his contentious nature – a factor that contributes significantly to his growing fame on social media platforms.

Colgate has kicked off its inaugural podcast advertising campaign in the UK with The Diary of a CEO by Steven Bartlett. This move, arranged via Colgate's media agency Wavemaker UK and Adelicious, is part of the brand's plan to expand its consumer reach in new ways.
