Podcast Ads Outperform CTV and YouTube, Study Shows
According to a study by digital audio consultancy Sounds Profitable, podcast advertising might be more effective than Connected TV (CTV) or YouTube. The research found that podcasts had better results in terms of purchase intent, brand awareness, and favorability. This is because listeners tend to pay more attention to ads on podcasts than viewers do on CTV or YouTube. This suggests that the money being redirected from traditional TV advertising could be better spent on podcast ads.

iHeartMedia, a leading podcast publisher, and the National Basketball Association (NBA), have revealed two new additions to their ongoing podcast collaboration. The first show, "NBA DNA with Hannah Storm," is launching today. Additionally, basketball star Vince Carter's second season of "The VC Show with Vince Carter" will also be part of the NBA Podcast Network.
NPR's Student Podcast Challenge is a platform for young journalists and audio enthusiasts from grade four to college. Now in its sixth year, the challenge keeps adapting to match the changing interests of today's younger generation.
Former "Vanderpump Rules" star Faith Stowers is set to share her personal experiences from the reality TV world through a new podcast. The podcast, named "The Frequency," will be launched this Sunday with Marcus Millions as her co-host. Their friendship and professional partnership began after Millions, a stylist and creative director, helped Stowers refine her public image following her departure from “Vanderpump Rules.”

How to Migrate From Google Podcasts to YouTube Music
Google's Product Manager, Steve McLendon, has expressed disappointment over the discontinuation of Google Podcasts. He believes that its straightforward design, which was one of its main features, may have contributed to its demise. The podcast service stopped running on April 2nd but users can transfer their subscriptions from Google Podcasts to YouTube Music or any other platform until July using a migration tool.
