Apple Podcasts to Highlight Narrative Series 

Apple is making changes to its Podcasts app, focusing on narrative-driven series. The app will have a new "Series" category and a Top Series chart featuring the top 100 serialized podcasts. Apple will also launch Series Essentials where editors select one podcast each month to feature in the app.

Libsyn, a leading podcast platform, has announced its advertising rates for September 2024. The average cost per thousand (CPM) for a one-minute ad was $21.37, with the highest earning categories being government, technology and health & fitness. Louis Theroux Finds Podcasting More Intimidating than Prisons

Louis Theroux, a renowned British documentarian, stated that he finds podcast studios more intimidating than prisons or mental hospitals. His discomfort comes from the necessity of being fully prepared in the controlled environment of a studio, as opposed to immersing himself in on-location shoots. Theroux is known for his investigative interviews with various fringe groups around the world.

ALIVE Podcast Network Introduces New Shows this Fall

The ALIVE Podcast Network is launching a new lineup of podcasts this fall, starting with "Image Elevators with BJ Coleman" on October 2nd. The first episode features an in-depth interview with Jussie Smollett about personal image and its pressures. In honor of "World Mental Health Day", the network will also debut three mental wellness podcasts: Impostrix, My Safe Place, and The Legal Imposter Podcast.

Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your background?

Paul Faronbi is a Certified Maxwell Leadership, Coach, Speaker, and Trainer. He has a passion for leadership and loves to mentor students in STEM. When he’s not traveling for work, you can usually find him traveling for STEM conferences. In his free time, you’ll either find him in the gym or trying out new foods because he considers himself an avid lover of food.

What inspired you to start a podcast?

I realized that as a speaker and coach. I can only impact people for an hour at a time, but a podcast is a way to continue to impact people and provide resources for free.

How did you come up with the name of your podcast?

Took the name of my business which was a nickname for me and the focus on leadership to create IncrediPaul Leadership.

What is the main focus or theme of your show?

Helping people become the most incredible versions of themselves! It's all about leadership and personal growth with a focus on STEM and entrepreneurship.

Have there been any particularly memorable moments during the recording that stick out to you?

Talking with Chris Robinson on EP 65 and he was able to pull out a couple things on his desk based on questions I asked and it was completely unplanned!

 

Who has been one of your favorite guests so far, and why?

Jonathan Javier, what he's doing for job seekers using AI is incredible!

What's next for your show – any exciting plans we should know about?
