Spotify is launching a new Messages feature, allowing users to chat and share music, podcasts, or audiobooks in the app. This aims to make it easier for users to recommend content to friends and family and keep track of suggestions. Users can share directly with people they’ve interacted with on Spotify and can react with emojis or send texts. The feature is rolling out to Free and Premium users aged 16+ in selected countries. Conversations are encrypted and monitored for harmful content to keep sharing safe.
