New '48 Hours: NCIS' Podcast to Discuss Real-life Navy Crime Cases

Paramount Audio is set to launch a new podcast series, "48 Hours: NCIS," that combines elements from CBS's “48 Hours” and “NCIS.” Hosted by Natalie Morales, the series will focus on real-life cases handled by the Naval Criminal Investigative Service agents. The first episode, which premieres on October 29, delves into the case of Erin Corwin, a Marine wife who was found dead in an abandoned mine following her disappearance at age 19.

Triton Digital Releases First Latin America Podcast Ranker Report

Triton Digital has released its inaugural Latin America Sales Network Podcast Ranker, offering valuable data on the top 12 podcast sales networks. The report highlights that News and Comedy are the most popular podcast genres, with Spotify being the leading platform for new episode downloads. Additionally, it provides a snapshot of the top podcasts based on downloads and several new debuts in June.

Libsyn Releases July 2024 Podcast Ad Rates

Libsyn's data for July 2024 shows a slight decrease in average CPM rates for 60-second podcast commercials, dropping to $21.90 from June's $21.92 and the previous year's $21.96. The top three categories for podcast advertising were technology, government, and business with CPMs of $30, $26 and $23 respectively. Rick Selah, Libsyn Chief Revenue Officer sees potential in using podcasts for holiday season marketing due to their influence on engaged listeners and suggests it as an effective way to enhance brand recall and reach.

Telecom Companies Increase Podcast Ad Spending by 36% in June

Telecom companies have increased their podcast advertising spend by 36% in June compared to last year, with a combined total of $10.8 million, according to Magellan AI's monthly report. Ultra Mobile led the spending at $3.7 million, followed by T-Mobile and AT&T who spent $1.7 million and $1.1 million respectively. The study also showed an increase in alcohol ad spending by 29% between May and June; however, this is lower than the same period last year when brands spent more.

SiriusXM Launches New Podcast Subscription Service on Apple Podcasts

SiriusXM has unveiled a new subscription service, SiriusXM Podcasts+, that will be exclusively available on Apple Podcasts from August 5. The service, priced at $5.99 monthly or $44.99 annually, offers early episode access, ad-free listening and bonus content from select shows in more than 50 countries including the U.S. and Canada. Launching with popular shows such as SmartLess and others from its network, it aims to cater to every listener's interests while also offering transcripts for Deaf and hearing-impaired consumers.

As a musician, I have participated in groups of various types and repertoires; in performing arts, I studied for a degree in theater, I prepare casts, I act and compose musical soundtracks; in literature, I write poems that have been published in 14 collections, and I publish them on websites and virtual pages. Semanavm is my personal space.

What inspired you to start a podcast?

Promote my artistic production, poetry.

How did you come up with the name of your podcast?

With the idea of ​​periodicity!
