New Features Expected for YouTube's Growing Podcast Scene YouTube has seen significant growth in podcasting this year and plans to continue investing in audio content. The company is looking at ways to improve the user experience, including expanding podcasts into other Google services, improving in-car listening options, and enhancing monetization methods beyond advertising. However, YouTube confirmed that it will not become a podcast distributor and has no plans to change its editing capabilities. |  |
Latest November 2024 Podcast Rankings out from Triton Digital Triton Digital has released its Canada Podcast Ranker for November 2024. The top three French and English podcasts were "La revue de presse de Paul Arcand", "Le Radiojournal", "Mario Dumont", "Front Burner", "The World This Hour" and "The Current" respectively. Overall, the highest-ranked podcast was Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard, while CBC/Radio-Canada topped the list for most weekly downloads followed by Wondery Network and Audioboom. |  |
