Hungary's Podcast Popularity Soars
Podcast listening in Hungary has tripled over the past three years, with two-thirds of Hungarians now tuning in occasionally. Podcasts are popular among young people, men, those with higher education and Budapest residents. A majority discover podcasts through social media and most listen via their phones on YouTube. Around 57% listeners come across ads or product placements during shows; 8% have made purchases based on these promotions. The NMHH launched its own podcast focusing on artificial intelligence and children's online safety.
