Global Earphones and Headphones Market to Reach $48 Billion by 2030

ResearchAndMarkets.com recently added a new report called "Earphones and Headphones - Global Strategic Business Report". According to this report, the global earphone and headphone market is expected to grow from $26 Billion in 2023 to $48 Billion by 2030. This implies an annual growth rate of about 8% between 2023 and 2030. The study also predicts that the earphones segment alone would expand at a slightly higher rate of around 9.1% annually, reaching approximately $31.1 billion by the end of the forecast period. Meanwhile, it estimates that headphones will see a steady growth of around 6.1% every year over the next eight years.

Triton Digital® has shared its U.S. Podcast Ranker report for April 2024, which covers the period from April 1 to April 28, as calculated by Triton's Podcast Metrics service. Once more, SiriusXM Podcast Network maintained its leading position on the Top Sales Networks Report for that month.

The Bunkered Podcast, which began in August 2020 and has already bagged multiple awards, is now the top golf podcast in the UK. It reached a milestone of one million downloads thanks to its growing community of dedicated listeners. The weekly show also boasts guest spots from some top figures in golf.

• Download Media says 72.5% of the CEOs it surveyed said 2024 revenue is outpacing last year. 

• 31% of podcast executives surveyed say increasing profitably is their number one priority. Dwnload Media says diversifying revenue streams and increasing downloads were two other areas of focus, each with 19% of those surveyed saying that is where they are most focused this year.

• The Interactive Advertising Bureau last week released projections showing total industry ad revenue will increase 12% in 2024, with total revenue on track to surpass $2.1 billion. And the IAB says podcasting is on a course to have $2.6 billion in total ad revenue by 2026. But those estimates may be too small based on what podcast executives say.

• Dwnload Media’s survey finds more than a quarter (27%) of podcast executives think the industry’s revenue will exceed $11 billion a year by 2030. And half think it will fall in the $8 to $11 billion range. Less than one percent of those surveyed predicted industry revenue will be less than $6 billion by 2030.
