PODCAST FACTS
Did You Know?
The potential for horror podcasts is massive considering that the genre itself is globally renowned. It accounted for more than 9% of total film and entertainment expenditure and raked in over $1.2 billion from worldwide ticket sales just in 2019.
The world's longest running, active horror podcast is WithoutYourHead.com which has been going since August 2006 as a semi-regular weekly series with celebrity interviews.
Horror tales can help lower stress hormones and serve as a form of "brain workout" or "practice treatment" for those dealing with different types of stress or anxiety.
