Report Highlights Increasing Focus on Podcasts by Radio Industry A new report by the Radio Television Digital News Association indicates that radio stations are producing more podcasts, with an average of 2.4 shows per station. The study also found fewer stations have begun significant digital initiatives this year, a decrease of 3.5% from last year. YouTube and Spotify Outrank Apple as Top Podcast Platforms Steve Jobs announced that Apple Inc. would support podcasts in 2005, making it a pioneer in this field. However, Spotify and YouTube are now the most popular platforms to listen to podcasts according to a recent study.
