PODCAST TIP

Want to land more podcast interviews? A great pitch is key. Here’s how to stand out in a host’s inbox:

Personalize It – No generic copy-paste emails. Mention why you’re a fit for their show and reference an episode you enjoyed.

Lead With Value – Skip the long bio. Instead, highlight 2-3 specific topics you can discuss that would interest their audience.

Keep It Short – Busy hosts scan quickly. Get to the point in 3-4 sentences, then link to your full bio/credentials.

Show, Don’t Just Tell – Include a clip of a past interview (if you have one) or a bullet list of your most engaging talking points.

Pro Tip: Follow up once after 7-10 days—many hosts miss first emails but appreciate a polite nudge!
