How to Record, Edit & Publish Podcast With Hubhopper
You can use your handsfree earphone with a microphone to record on your computer through the Hubhopper Studio Editor. This way, you don't need to buy new gear.
To start editing, upload your audio file to the Hubhopper Studio Editor. You can use features like trim, duplicate and merge in the studio to edit your audio.
When you finish editing and are happy with your episode, click 'download'. You will get an MP3 format of your audio file.
Click on 'Add your media file here' to put your file in the system. Make sure it's not over 200 MB.
Then, hit 'Upload & Publish'. Choose where you want to share and it'll be sent out everywhere you picked.
With Hubhopper Mobile App
To start a podcast on Hubhopper app, first, open the app and tap on the '+' or 'my hub'. This takes you to login. You can either create an account with personal details or use your Google account. After logging in, you can begin setting up your podcast channel.
To set up your podcast, fill in the following details: Podcast name (keep it short), Author name (content owner's name), Language, and Category (that matches your content). Add a brief description of your podcast and include social links.
Upload a pre-designed image or create one using Canva. Make sure it's square-shaped, at least 1400 x 1400 px, in RGB scale and saved as JPEG or PNG.
Allow the app to access your microphone. Click on the '+' button at the bottom, then 'Add audio file' and 'Create new recording'. Connect any external device before starting if needed. Record your intro episode, main body, and conclusion separately. You can find all recordings in your app library later.
To edit audio, click the three-dot icon and select 'edit'. Drag timeline hands to define a workspace. Click 'delete selected' to erase that part or 'keep selected' to keep it and remove the rest.
Add 'pre-roll' and 'post-roll' music to your podcast using the in-app audio library. Click on the '+' button, choose your music, then edit as needed. You can also add sound effects from the library to make your podcast more engaging.
Upload your podcast episode using the Hubhopper mobile app. Choose your preferred platform for distribution and hit 'distribute'.
