YouTube Ending Trending Now List

YouTube will soon remove its Trending page and Trending Now list. The company says new features, like format-specific charts, will better serve viewers. These new charts include Weekly Top Podcast Shows, Trending Music Videos, and Trending Movie Trailers. YouTube feels trends today are more diverse, with many smaller communities and micro-trends. Instead of a single trending list, YouTube will focus on personalized recommendations and new charts to help people find popular content.

Podcast Journey

PROFESSOR NICK GIORDANO’S PODCAST JOURNEY

Meet Professor Nicholas Giordano – the fiery academic and host of The P.A.S. Report who trades ivory tower neutrality for unflinching political combat. A constitutional scholar and media critic, Giordano weaponizes his platform to dissect government overreach, challenge narrative engineering, and platform forbidden perspectives—from medical freedom to election integrity. Whether interviewing heavyweights like Tucker Carlson or dismantling policy myths solo, his style blends scholarly rigor with the urgency of a wartime briefing.

Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your background?

Nicholas Giordano is a political science professor, conservative commentator, and host of The P.A.S. Report Podcast. A leading voice on government abuse and elitist overreach, he exposes corruption, defends free speech, and champions limited government. Featured on Fox News, NY Post, and more, he empowers Americans to fight for liberty and accountability.

What inspired you to start a podcast?

I launched The P.A.S. Report Podcast to cut through the media noise, expose government abuse, and bring honest, unfiltered analysis to the public. As a political science professor, and with encouragement from my students, I wanted to empower Americans with the knowledge to push back against corruption, abuses of power, and policies that threaten our freedoms and founding principles.

How did you come up with the name of your podcast?

When I was a contractor with the government on national security issues, my corporate name was PA Strategies so it made sense to name the podcast, The P.A.S. Report. P stands for Politics, A stands for Analysis, and S stands for Strategies where listeners get a call to action.

What is the main focus or theme of your show?

The P.A.S. Report exposes government abuse, overreach, and threats to freedom. It empowers Americans to defend liberty and restore founding principles. The show also features America’s Founding Series, highlighting the forgotten patriots and ideas that shaped the United States.

Have there been any particularly memorable moments during the recording that stick out to you?

There are many memorable moments, and I've had great guests from whistleblowers to intellectual giants like Victor Davis Hansen. There are topics covered on The P.A.S. Report Podcast that you won't hear anywhere else. I particularly enjoy doing the American Founding Series as I get to educate the audience, yet at the same time, when doing research, I learn new things myself.

Who has been one of your favorite guests so far, and why?

There are so many people I have had the pleasure of hosting so it is difficult to point to just one guest.

What's next for your show – any exciting plans we should know about?

Big things are ahead for The P.A.S. Report as I am currently in talks with some podcast networks to potentially bring my podcast to their platforms as long as I don't lose creative control. My audience always comes first and the goal remains the same: inform, empower, and equip Americans to fight back against overreach and defend our founding principles.

Podcast Tip Of The Day

Your guests are your podcast’s secret sauce—they can elevate your credibility or undermine your hard-earned audience trust. Here’s why being picky pays off:

 Audience First
Ask: Does this guest offer unique value my listeners actually want? A niche expert trumps a generic "big name" every time.

 Quality Control
One dull or unprepared guest can tank your reputation.

 Growth Leverage
The right guests bring their own followers.

 Consistency = Loyalty
Great guests reinforce your show’s identity. Random picks confuse your brand.

A Final Note

Your podcast guests are the co-authors of your show's legacy—choose partners, not just participants.
